Patricia has coached hundreds of people to find their creative voices, hone their craft, and find an audience. From writing the textbook The Writer’s Craft in 2003 to writing The Canadian Guide to Creative Writing and Publishing, published 2023, she’s focused a significant part of her career on helping others to improve their writing. Currently teaching at University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies, Patricia also visits schools, festivals, and community groups, offering workshops on creative thinking, revision skills, and routes to publication.
